About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Research and Development Co-Op for our site in San Luis Obispo, California. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January through June. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please note that we do not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Assist the R&D team in documenting historical and new project data.
- Learn basic experimental design and how to document results for the development of new purification media.
- Conduct tests to evaluate process effectiveness and ensure result validity.
- Review test data to summarize media quality performance.
- Update current documentation to align with new standard templates.
- Document final test procedures for transfer to the QA laboratories.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op program participation.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Ability to document and analyze test results accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Effective communication skills for summarizing technical findings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
