About the role#
Faurecia is hiring an Industrial Engineering Intern for its manufacturing facility in Columbus, Indiana. This is a year-round, full-time, paid internship. You will work on-site and support our manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Create and update work instructions for assembly processes.
- Find ways to improve efficiency on production lines, including evaluating cycle times.
- Check that control plans and PFMEAs match and are updated.
- Standardize parameter charts.
- Prepare documentation for new programs and transfers.
- Reevaluate TPM levels and track efficiency for operators and gap leaders.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- You have a minimum GPA of 2.8.
- You are comfortable using Microsoft Office and Excel.
- You have strong analytical skills.
- You can work effectively in a matrixed organization.
