About the role#
We are looking for an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Co-Op to join our team in Orangeburg, South Carolina, for the Fall 2026 term. This role reports to the EHS Manager and involves working on technical projects that support our manufacturing operations. You will gain hands-on experience while collaborating with engineers and facilities personnel.
What you'll do#
- Investigate incidents and provide guidance to prevent future occurrences.
- Perform surveys and sampling to verify that safety controls are working.
- Manage sustainability metrics and support certifications like UL Zero Waste.
- Assist the EHS team with environmental permits for air, wastewater, stormwater, and spill prevention.
- Support the Emergency Response Team organization.
- Align new business opportunities with existing EHS programs from the project level through production.
- Work on key annual review projects for the site.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Public Health, Health Administration, or a related science degree.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A technical background with a business-oriented focus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.

- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
