About the role#
This is a paid internship within the TMZ Podcasts Department. You will work directly with the Podcast Producer and Associate Producer to gain experience in newsgathering, production, and digital content creation. This role offers exposure to the day-to-day operations of a major entertainment news organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Podcast Producer and Associate Producer with daily tasks.
- Edit and produce clips for social media platforms.
- Contribute to the production process at TMZ.
- Participate in informative speaker sessions designed for interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in college.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Political Science, or Graphic Design.
- Demonstrated knowledge in your field of study or through previous experience.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, split into two or more 10-hour shifts.
- Comfort with a 6:00 AM start time for your shifts.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere and Audition is a plus.

- This role is based on-site in Los Angeles, California.
- The internship runs from October 2026 through December 2026.
- The pay rate for this position is $18.42 per hour.
