    About the role#

    This internship offers hands-on experience within the Enterprise Operations and Technology division at Freddie Mac. You will contribute to projects that modernize platforms and support critical business operations. This is a full-time, paid summer program for 2027 that provides exposure to the financial technology industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Work with project teams to develop software solutions.
    • Define business and user needs to identify technical requirements.
    • Participate in requirements analysis and design applications.
    • Build enhancements for existing software systems.
    • Support the implementation of application changes.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • Your expected graduation date is December 2027 or May 2028.
    • You have college-level experience with coding languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.
    • You are familiar with code completion and generative AI tools.
    • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies is preferred.
    • You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    • Location: McLean, Virginia.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Pay: $32 per hour.
