About the role#
This is a full-time internship position based in Wilmington, North Carolina, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site to support the development and deployment of advanced nuclear reactor technology. This role focuses on project management tasks to help ensure small modular reactors are delivered on time and within budget.
What you'll do#
- Support project managers in the planning and execution of contracts for the design and construction of new nuclear power plants.
- Receive technical learning opportunities, mentorship, and coaching from project managers and project engineers.
- Complete technically challenging assignments related to the advanced nuclear industry.
- Prioritize work tasks to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Science engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to be authorized to access or use information subject to U.S. Export Control Laws.
