About the role#
This 10-to-12 week internship starts in Summer 2027. You will work with IT leaders to solve real-world problems. The program provides experience to help you start your IT career. Successful interns who are rising seniors may apply for the full-time IT Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Complete assignments in core IT processes like application development, client/server, programming languages, web development, system integration, data science, and project management.
- Attend on-site technical and professional development classes.
- Build a network of peers and mentors.
- Present your accomplishments to the IT team and senior leadership.
- Participate in sponsored community service events.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer/Management Information Systems, or Mathematics.
- A record of academic excellence, ideally with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of business concepts and strategy.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages.

- This position is based in Richmond, Virginia.
- The work modality is hybrid.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
