About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to operational projects within the Kite organization. You will gain experience in biopharmaceutical operations while working on initiatives that support the development of cell therapies. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and a focus on process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Develop an end-to-end map of the cell therapy value chain, identifying critical activities, dependencies, and constraints.
- Analyze how internal capacity and external spend are deployed across the cell therapy lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders to validate process maps and identify bottlenecks or opportunities to simplify work.
- Assess the feasibility of applying AI and automation to high-value activities.
- Create a prioritized set of recommendations for resource allocation and AI deployment.
- Translate findings into an executive-ready roadmap and deliver a final presentation on your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in fields such as Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, Public Health, or Finance.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data sets.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and independently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
