About the role#
As an intern in Kite Development for Tech Ops, you will join a team focused on process development and manufacturing. You will contribute to high-impact projects that support our mission to develop cancer therapies. During your time with us, you will participate in professional development, leadership presentations, and networking activities.
What you'll do#
- Execute an analytics and digital innovation project to extract value from process development and manufacturing data.
- Build dashboards, AI-enabled tools, and automated workflows to improve visibility into operational outcomes.
- Apply data science, machine learning, and generative AI to evaluate opportunities for decision support.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify use cases and deliver scalable solutions.
- Generate recommendations to support future digital transformation and analytics initiatives.
- Present your final work at the conclusion of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to 10-12 consecutive weeks of full-time work between May and August.
- Programming experience in Python or R.
- Experience with generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of cloud-based analytics, data engineering, or software development tools.
- Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- This internship is based in Santa Monica, California.
- The role is hybrid and requires working at the designated site.
- This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
