    About the role#

    This is a full-time internship position for Summer 2027 based in Essex Junction, Vermont. You will join the facilities engineering team to support electrical distribution systems within the semiconductor manufacturing environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Support initiatives focused on energy efficiency and electrical system optimization.
    • Help develop strategies to improve the accuracy, collection, and use of site electrical metering data.
    • Standardize methods for collecting data on electrical distribution equipment performance.
    • Analyze technical options to improve how electrical systems are monitored and reported.
    • Participate in engineering design tasks, including the evaluation of capital upgrades.
    • Develop metrics and tools to track energy management improvements.
    • Create procedures and training materials for system users and technicians.
    • Engage in project documentation to support infrastructure reliability and compliance.
    • Maintain safety standards and follow all environmental and security programs.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering degree program.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
