About the role#
This internship offers John Deere Ag Tech students a chance to gain hands-on experience within our service department. You will work alongside our service team to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment. This program combines classroom learning with practical work in the shop.
What you'll do#
- Complete project assignments focused on service-related dealership activities.
- Shadow and work with experienced personnel to learn shop operations.
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and Ag Management Solutions products.
- Participate in Service EDUCATE training programs to build your technical skills.
- Stay up to date on John Deere and competitive product lines.
- Follow safety protocols and document your work, including time cards and material usage.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an AAS Degree program for John Deere Tech.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to operate equipment and vehicles for diagnostics.
- Capacity to lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Location: Harvey, North Dakota.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $22 per hour for the first year, increasing to $24 per hour for the second year.
