    About the role#

    Join the team at Graco High Pressure Equipment as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. You will work alongside mechanical engineers to design, support, and develop solutions for fluid handling equipment. This role focuses on building skills in machine design, failure analysis, strength of materials, and fluid mechanics.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with new product development, including design ideation and collaboration.
    • Provide hands-on support for project team prototyping and testing.
    • Design test plans and conduct experiments to analyze results.
    • Use engineering tools like CREO and Finite Element Analysis to evaluate designs.
    • Analyze designs against standards such as SAE and UL.
    • Review product literature and instruction manuals.
    • Troubleshoot product issues in the lab, field, or manufacturing environment.
    • Implement design solutions to solve real-world problems.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Proficiency with CAD software such as Creo or Solid Works.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Mechanical aptitude and a desire for hands-on work.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based on-site in Erie, Pennsylvania.
    • This is a full-time, paid internship.
    • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
