About the role#
As a Mechanical Design Intern on the Mechanical Integration team, you will work on integrating precision agriculture technology into farm machinery. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
What you'll do#
- Research, develop, and evaluate designs that integrate precision technology with electrical, communication, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform installation and testing of these integrated systems.
- Create and update design documentation across all project phases.
- Coordinate engineering efforts and provide assistance to internal teams or external customers.
- Assist with training needs for new or existing products and processes.
- Support the quote or request for quote process.
- Use prescribed techniques and procedures within established criteria.
- Demonstrate support for company culture in your daily actions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Junior or Senior status.

- Compensation: $19.57 - $35.02 per hour.
