About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work alongside our engineers to design, support, and analyze fluid handling equipment. You will build skills in machine design, failure analysis, strength of materials, and fluid mechanics while solving technical problems. This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to projects that impact our business and develop your professional capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on mechanical design ideation.
- Provide hands-on support for prototyping and testing.
- Design test plans and conduct tests.
- Analyze designs using tools such as CREO and Finite Element Analysis.
- Evaluate designs against standards like SAE and UL.
- Review instruction manuals and product literature.
- Troubleshoot product problems in the field, lab, or manufacturing settings.
- Develop and implement solutions to solve technical issues.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude and a desire for hands-on work.
- Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works or Creo.

- Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
