About the role#
Join AgVantage FS as an Agronomy Intern for the Summer of 2027. You will gain experience in crop production, field scouting, and precision agriculture while working with farmer-member customers. This role includes participation in the GROWMARK Internship Program, which provides mentorship, professional development, and a capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field scouting, monitor crop health, and gather field data.
- Assist with agronomy trials, plot work, field demonstrations, and research projects.
- Use precision agriculture tools and technology for data collection.
- Help with product inventory, ordering, receiving, and daily operations.
- Attend customer visits, grower events, and educational sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college, or university.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Comfort working in varying weather conditions and at various heights.

- This internship is based in Allison, Iowa.
- The position is full-time and on-site for the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a paid internship.
