About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in agronomy field work and operations. You will work under the direction of location management to learn the foundations of the industry and prepare for a future career. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of facility equipment.
- Operate field research and crop monitoring technology.
- Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
- Build professional relationships by visiting locations and customers.
- Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory control tasks.
- Follow safety policies and environmental regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or certification program at a community college, technical college, or university.
- Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) and a commercial applicator's license.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work independently.
- Physical capacity to lift 51-70 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions and at elevated heights.
- Ability to travel independently, including overnight stays when required.
