About the role#
As a Planning Analyst Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team. You will work alongside Financial Advisors to learn how tax planning and insurance impact a client's financial health. This internship provides hands-on experience in the financial services industry while you complete your degree.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and product providers.
- Review new business daily to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Follow up with providers and advisors to settle transactions.
- Manage a caseload of communications through phone calls and emails to support account funding.
- Study for and obtain your Property and Casualty license.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A genuine interest in a career within financial services.
- Availability to work 20 to 25 hours per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems with attention to detail.
