About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Bridgewater, New Jersey. You will work within the Adhesive Technologies business unit, focusing on Technomelt and Aquence brands. This role requires an on-site presence.
What you'll do#
- Lead independent projects within the Application Center to support customer solutions.
- Conduct and optimize laboratory test methods to evaluate the performance of adhesive products.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, including viscometers, tensile testers, 3D printers, and small-scale packaging lines.
- Collect, record, and analyze experimental data to prepare reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on adhesive solutions for the packaging and labeling industry.
- Participate in networking events, mentorship programs, and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student finishing your sophomore or junior year in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of adhesive chemistry and principles of adhesion.
- Proficiency in standard lab techniques, including chemical handling and benchtop equipment operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot adhesive performance issues and analyze data.
- Commitment to following laboratory safety protocols.
Location & details#
- Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey.
- Duration: May 24th to August 13th.
- Compensation: $22-$27 per hour.
- Note: This position does not offer a housing stipend or relocation support. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
