    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time Industrial Design internship based on-site in Trumbull, Connecticut. The role spans the Winter and Summer 2027 terms, specifically from January 11th through August 13th. You will work within the Consumer Brands business unit to support packaging and product development.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop packaging and product solutions for various consumer brands.
    • Collaborate with teams across Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Formulation, and Consumer Insights.
    • Research and design new structural packaging concepts.
    • Create 2D and 3D concepts using sketching and CAD modeling.
    • Build and evaluate 3D CAD models, renderings, and rapid prototypes.
    • Join brainstorming and problem-solving sessions with interdisciplinary teams.
    • Support consumer research projects using in-house focus group facilities.
    • Prepare and present design strategies and project outcomes.

    What you'll need#

    • Current undergraduate student (sophomore, junior, or senior) pursuing a degree in Industrial Design.
    • Experience with SolidWorks or similar solid modeling software.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Interest or experience in rapid prototyping and working in a model shop environment.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Microsoft PowerPoint skills are a plus.

    • Location: Trumbull, CT.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $22 to $27 per hour.
    • Eligibility: This role does not offer sponsorship. Housing stipend or relocation support is available.
