About the role#
Honkamp, P.C. is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Dubuque, Iowa. You will work alongside our team to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects. What you'll do#
- Process monthly accounts.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Handle state sales and use tax preparation.
- Manage annual 1099 and 1096 filings.
- Maintain client depreciation schedules.
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree program.
- A record of outstanding academic performance.
- Strong skills in communication, time management, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
