    About the role#

    The House of Commons of Canada hires students for full-time positions during the summer of 2026. This program offers a chance to work within a legislative environment while gaining experience across various service areas. You will work alongside experienced professionals and apply your academic background to practical projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide administrative support and client service.
    • Contribute to projects across fields including Computer Science, Communications, Graphic Design, Political Science, and Data Science.
    • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.
    • Participate in work activities within the legislative offices.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrolment as a student in a secondary or post-secondary accredited academic institution.
    • Fluency in both English and French.
    • Minimum age of 16.
    • Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid study permit.
    • Ability to provide proof of enrolment during the hiring process.
