About the role#
This internship provides students with professional experience in the electrical and electronics manufacturing industry. You will focus on the design, construction, and testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) from initial concept through prototype validation. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Reading, Pennsylvania, for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts.
- Create technical specifications and test procedures.
- Oversee prototype builds.
- Conduct initial testing to evaluate and refine product performance.
- Assist with process improvement.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
- Present project outcomes to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
