About the role#
The Political-Military Analysis department at Hudson Institute offers an internship for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on how the relationship between Russia and China impacts U.S. security. Interns work directly with experts to discuss these issues while gaining experience in research and public policy. The program runs from August 24 to December 4.
What you'll do#
- Conduct open-source research for reports and articles.
- Write literature reviews based on gathered sources.
- Update the team and experts on current events.
- Assist with research projects, presentations, briefing memos, and op-eds.
- Handle administrative tasks and provide support for events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or recent graduation in political science, international relations, economics, security studies, military studies, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in military operations, strategy, and Russia-China relations.
- Strong research, writing, editing, and analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Russian language capabilities are a plus.
