About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry. It is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. The role aims to help you grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and ministry skills while you discern your call to service.
What you'll do#
- Participate with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
- Contribute to the team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students how to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by seeking opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, with a focus on those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Engage with supervision and training from staff ministry trainers.
- Serve as an ambassador of the organization to ministry partners and churches.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- You can annually affirm the Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, and teamwork.
- You are eager to learn and possess cross-cultural competence.
Location & details#
- Location: South Dakota.
- This is a part-time, on-site position.
- The role is funded through personal fundraising, and compensation depends on your ability to secure a donor team.
