About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry. You will work with the campus ministry team to develop your leadership skills, grow in your spiritual understanding, and gain practical ministry experience. This role is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college.
What you'll do#
- Participate with the campus ministry team to cast vision and direction.
- Contribute to the team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus to build witnessing communities that are broader and more ethnically diverse.
- Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Assist students and faculty in growing their appreciation for people of every culture and ethnicity.
- Engage with training and supervision provided by your ministry director.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization to ministry partners and churches.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- You can annually affirm the InterVarsity Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, professionalism, and teamwork.
- You are eager to learn and possess strong communication skills.

- Compensation: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Your salary depends on your ability to secure a donor team to cover the costs of the role.
