About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry within the Mid-Michigan area. You will develop your leadership skills, grow in spiritual understanding, and gain practical ministry experience. This position is open to current students enrolled in a four-year or community college.
What you'll do#
- Engage with the campus ministry team to help cast spiritual vision and direction.
- Contribute to the team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation on campus.
- Teach students how to love, study, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the organization's mission by proclaiming the Gospel and guiding chapters in strategic thinking.
- Model a love for God's people of every culture and ethnicity.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students.
- Work closely with your staff ministry trainer or director to receive supervision and training.
- Serve as an ambassador by discussing ministry efforts and accomplishments with partners and churches.

- You are a follower of Jesus Christ and can annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities like initiative, self-awareness, and professionalism.
- You possess a developing passion for evangelism.
- You are eager to learn and work well within a team.
- You have cross-cultural competence and relational maturity.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Michigan.
- The role is part-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship. Compensation is funded through personal fundraising, and you will work to secure a donor team to cover your salary.
