About the role#
This Athletics Work Study position supports the athletic department at Ellsworth Community College. You will assist in the execution of game operations to ensure events run smoothly for athletes and spectators. This role is paid and covers the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 academic terms.
What you'll do#
- Manage game operations, including operating the scoreboard, game clocks, and scorebook.
- Prepare the playing surface and set up equipment before events begin.
- Tear down equipment and clear the playing surface once events conclude.
- Process cash transactions for patrons attending sporting events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve game operation issues as they arise.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of football, volleyball, basketball, and wrestling.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good people skills and a helpful attitude.

- Location: Iowa Falls, IA.
- Term: Fall 2026 through Spring 2027.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $9.00 per hour.
