About the role#
The HSHP Dean's Office is hiring student assistants to support daily operations. You will work under the Assistant to the Dean to help manage office tasks and support various departments within the school. This role is open to students in Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, Health Administration, and Media Studies.
What you'll do#
- Manage reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering phones.
- Lead weekly tours for prospective HSHP students.
- Handle data entry and maintain school records.
- Create and post content for social media channels.
- Assist with administrative projects, such as preparing marketing materials and managing spreadsheets.
- Deliver mail and packages around campus.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student at Ithaca College.
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook is required.
- You should have strong attention to detail.
- You must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with Canva is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Ithaca, New York.
- Work is on-site and scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
- This is a paid position at $16 per hour.
- The term is for the Fall 2026 semester.
