About the role#
Ithaca College is hiring an Intramural Supervisor to oversee our campus intramural sports programs. You will coordinate leagues and events while maintaining a safe, fair, and competitive environment for all participants. This role focuses on promoting sportsmanship and ensuring that games run smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Supervise intramural sports leagues and events.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a fair atmosphere.
- Provide guidance to referees and scorekeepers.
- Assist with facility scheduling, set-up, and take-down.
- Manage conflicts and issues as they arise during games.
- Communicate with participants, staff, and volunteers to promote a culture of inclusivity.
What you'll need#
- Experience as an intramural official in at least one sport.
- Knowledge of various sports and their specific rules.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration program is preferred.
