About the role#
The Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE) at Ithaca College is hiring an Office Assistant. This position provides administrative support to the department assistant and faculty members. It is a paid, part-time role offering between 5 and 10 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Copy and scan office materials.
- Perform data entry and light typing tasks.
- Manage Excel spreadsheets for course schedules, mailing lists, and student records.
- Respond to walk-in visitors and phone inquiries.
- Assist with campus errands and poster distribution.
- Update the department website and social media channels.
- Help faculty and staff with special projects and assignments.
- Design posters when needed.
