About the role#
The Theatre & Dance Admissions Office Assistant supports the Admissions Coordinator with projects for the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. This role involves managing admissions events and administrative tasks within the Dillingham Theatre Office. You will work approximately 8 hours per week over a 15-week semester. These hours are flexible and can increase during high-traffic periods like audition days and the spring season.
What you'll do#
- Assist with seasonal mailings for MTD Admissions.
- Lead tours of the Dillingham Theatre.
- Coordinate student volunteers for Open Houses and Audition Days.
- Facilitate admitted student visits during April.
- Support the Dillingham Theatre Office with various administrative projects.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with event coordination.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule around your academic responsibilities.
- Preference is given to students majoring in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Ithaca, New York.
- The role is paid at a rate of $16.15 per hour.
- This opening is for the Fall 2026 term.
