About the role#
J.D. Irving, Limited is seeking a Category & Shopper Development Co-op Student for the Winter 2027 term. This position is based in Toronto and offers an opportunity to gain experience in data analysis and business strategy within the consumer products sector.
What you'll do#
- Support the Category & Shopper Development team by producing and analyzing key reports.
- Build analytical reports and presentations to address business needs.
- Analyze complex data sets and share relevant findings.
- Identify category trends and shopper behaviors to develop actionable insights that improve performance.
- Lead a specific initiative or project, culminating in a final presentation to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, or Statistics.
- A record of high academic achievement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
