About the role#
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Co-op Student position offers hands-on experience in corporate finance, business analysis, and strategic decision-making. You will work alongside finance professionals to gain exposure to financial planning, performance reporting, and forecasting. This role is part of a CPA Training Program office.
What you'll do#
- Assist with benchmarking, reporting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Participate in the review and analysis of quarterly financial reporting packages.
- Prepare internal and external presentation materials and business insights.
- Use tools such as TM1, Tableau, CapIQ, and Bloomberg to enhance reporting and automate workflows.
- Support special projects and ad hoc analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current university student in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field in good academic standing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with data.
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analysis.
