    About the role#

    This internship provides work experience within the Construction and Forestry Division. You will work on projects that expose you to the John Deere brand, our independent dealers, and our customers. The role aims to prepare participants for future professional opportunities through hands-on involvement in the construction and forestry industries.

    What you'll do#

    • Engage in projects related to construction business operations, portfolio, and products.
    • Support customer production systems, including aggregates, forestry, underground, site development, and roadbuilding.
    • Assist with machine and jobsite technology projects.
    • Participate in marketing and communications initiatives.
    • Develop sales and technical training materials.
    • Contribute to customer and product support, electrification, sustainability, and data analytics tasks.

    What you'll need#

    • Completed your first year of a Bachelor's degree or be currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • A cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
    • A valid U.S. driver's license.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Ability to relocate domestically.
    • Note that U.S. visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    • This is a full-time, paid internship.
    • The position is based in Moline, Illinois.
    • Work is on-site.
