About the role#
Join the Environmental Health and Safety team for a summer internship at our headquarters. You will work on real projects, collaborate with multiple functional areas, and gain experience in an industrial food manufacturing setting. This role reports to a Safety Coordinator who provides direction and project support.
What you'll do#
- Drive a culture of safety ownership and develop solutions for plant operations.
- Perform project work including Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessments, and hazard recognition.
- Document findings and data using the Velocity EHS software tool.
- Assist with regulatory compliance by working directly on the operations floor.
- Help develop corrective and preventive actions to mitigate workplace risks.
- Collaborate with multi-function teams to validate safety assessments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Junior or senior academic status is preferred.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills, specifically Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A drive for excellence and a desire to contribute in a team environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prior work experience is preferred.

- Location: Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027 (Start date May 24, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Travel: Less than 10 percent travel to remote facilities may be required.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
