About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Watertown, Wisconsin. You will join the Operations Team to help standardize processes across our facilities. You will work alongside plant leadership to gain hands-on experience in a production environment.
What you'll do#
- Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across all facilities.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, safety, and reliability teams.
- Lead or participate in projects to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality.
- Analyze OEE and downtime data to support performance tracking.
- Develop recommendations to strengthen existing SOPs.
- Document your work in reports and notebooks.
- Share your questions, ideas, and project results with your team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations Management (junior or senior status preferred).
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to work off shifts as needed.
- Willingness to travel to facilities near campus.
- Self-starter mindset with a drive for excellence.
- Previous work experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
