About the role#
We are looking for a Planning Analytics Intern to join our team in Sheboygan Falls. You will use statistical models and business intelligence tools to support our planning processes. You will work with our demand, supply, and commercial planning teams to turn data into insights that help with decision-making and business performance.
What you'll do#
- Build, maintain, and improve planning reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Analyze historical performance to find trends, patterns, and anomalies in demand, supply, and inventory data.
- Support statistical and driver-based forecasting models while evaluating accuracy and bias.
- Partner with planning teams to assess assumptions, scenario outcomes, and performance against KPIs.
- Document methodologies, workflows, and findings.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and operational challenges.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Junior or senior status is preferred, along with a 3.5 minimum GPA.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, R, or BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets.
- Interest in commercial planning, supply chain planning, business analytics, and forecasting.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and intellectual curiosity.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior work experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
