About the role#
Jump Trading is hiring interns for the Campus AI Research Engineer role. You will work alongside researchers and quantitative traders to develop machine learning systems for financial markets. This position focuses on moving research from concept to production, optimizing high-performance computing resources, and building systems where latency is a critical factor.
What you'll do#
- Apply advanced techniques to complex domains.
- Collaborate with researchers and quants to build flexible, reusable frameworks for financial AI and ML.
- Integrate models into production systems that require low latency.
- Develop large-scale systems that are performant, observable, and flexible.
- Write code across C, C++, Python, and CUDA.
- Improve research productivity by reducing iteration cycle times.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Python or C++.
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Expertise in GPU or accelerator programming, including CUDA, Triton, SYCL, or ROCm.
- Experience building AI or ML systems at scale.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
