About the role#
We are looking for research engineers to apply machine learning techniques to complex domains. You will work on projects spanning the entire research process, from initial concept to production deployment. This role requires a blend of AI expertise, engineering pragmatism, and statistics to build performant systems.
What you'll do#
- Apply state-of-the-art techniques to challenging problems.
- Build flexible and reusable frameworks for financial machine learning by working with researchers and quants.
- Optimize training pipelines to maximize the use of our high-performance computing resources.
- Integrate machine learning models into production systems where latency is a factor.
- Write code across C, C++, Python, and CUDA.
- Build large-scale systems that are observable, performant, and flexible.
- Reduce iteration cycle times to improve research productivity.
What you'll need#
- A strong publication record at venues such as ICML, ICLR, AAAI, NeurIPS, UAI, or KDD.
- A background in machine learning with exposure to modern deep learning techniques.
- Development skills in Python or C++.
- Familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or Electrical Engineering.
