About the role#
This 10-week internship program focuses on building your trading aptitude and understanding of financial markets. You will experience the daily work of a full-time quant trader at Jump. The program provides training in trading strategies, market mechanics, statistics, and signal generation. You will work alongside trading teams on projects with real impact.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with trading teams on meaningful projects.
- Participate in mock trading sessions and poker training.
- Receive daily 1:1 mentorship from experienced quantitative traders.
- Develop your probabilistic thinking and risk-taking skills.
- Gain exposure to trading strategies and market intuition.
What you'll need#
- Strong skills in probabilistic thinking and mathematical reasoning.
- A competitive spirit and a drive to improve.
- Programming experience.
- An appetite for risk-taking.
- A demonstrated interest in financial markets.
- Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Finance, or Statistics.
