About the role#
JRI is seeking a BA Level Intern to join our Community Based Services division. This role supports children and families with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work in an after school environment alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized, strength-based care.
What you'll do#
- Learn clinical interventions to support youth in social and educational settings.
- Explore clinical knowledge through evidence-based modalities.
- Strengthen your documentation skills and gain experience with electronic medical records.
- Act as a member of a multidisciplinary team to support youth and families.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in mental health, social work, or a human service field.
- A genuine interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment models is preferred.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.

- This is a paid, full-time internship. Supervision from licensed staff is provided to support your clinical growth and degree requirements.
