    About the role#

    The In-Home Behavioral Services (IHBS) program provides home-based support to youth and families. You will work with a team to help children identify and reduce challenging behaviors. This internship offers BCBA supervision and training, alongside professional development opportunities and CEUs. You will receive supervision from licensed staff to support your clinical growth and degree requirements.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide trauma-informed care to youth who present with challenging behaviors.
    • Use home and community-based behavioral interventions to help caregivers manage behaviors and promote positive alternatives.
    • Collaborate with Behavioral Monitors to coach and model interventions.
    • Support clients as they work toward their goals.
    • Create and implement individualized behavior plans rooted in behavioral fundamentals.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, public health, human resources, nursing, or a related field. Second-year students are preferred.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Comfort with technology and the ability to learn various electronic systems.
    • An active driver's license and daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
    • Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
