About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Santa Clara, California. This role is part of the Kickstart Internship Program and supports project teams working on water resources, water quality, and wastewater treatment solutions. You will gain exposure to projects across the United States while receiving mentorship and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Apply academic skills and calculations to a variety of engineering projects.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Contribute to the development of design plans and specifications.
- Participate in field work and project site visits.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Manage ongoing project tasks and communicate with team members and clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering field.
- Completion of at least junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum of two days per week in the office).
