About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is hiring for the 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Ventura. This role supports project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater, and water treatment. You will gain experience through mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Apply skills and engineering calculations from your coursework to project tasks.
- Manage ongoing projects and communicate with team members and clients.
- Prepare technical reports, design plans, and specifications.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Conduct site visits for project-related work.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering field.
- Completion of at least junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Ventura, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
- Employment type: Paid, full-time internship.
- Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits: Includes medical coverage or a monthly stipend, a monthly cell phone allowance, 401(k) participation, and accrued paid sick time.
