About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in construction management. You will learn key roles and functions within our operations while working on real-world projects. This position is full-time and temporary, running during the summer from May through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform field engineering, operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, and quantity tracking.
- Handle material procurement, contract administration, estimating, and supervision of field activities.
- Complete engineering tasks using standard techniques and address minor technical problems that arise during construction.
- Maintain records for job progress, costs, and material usage.
- Plan and schedule job segments.
- Investigate problems or incidents and recommend solutions.
- Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements and pricing.
- Work with suppliers to manage and expedite material deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer months.
- Willingness to travel or relocate as needed for project requirements.
- Capacity to access all areas of a construction site in various climates and environments.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to ethics, integrity, and safety.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.

- This is an on-site, full-time paid internship.
