    About the role#

    Kimley-Horn is hiring Landscape Architecture students to join our office in Austin, Texas. This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling term. You will work on various projects including land planning, urban design, mixed-use and residential developments, streetscapes, parks, and public infrastructure.

    What you'll do#

    • Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality check client deliverables.
    • Contribute to site planning, landscape design, and graphic production.
    • Assist project managers and collaborate with other disciplines to deliver client projects.
    • Learn and apply federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Develop familiarity with our internal practices and client standards.
    • Gain experience with software including Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture.
    • You have experience with technical software programs.
    • You can solve complex problems.
    • You work well in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
