    About the role#

    We are hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Co-op to join our team in Avon, Ohio or Huntington, Indiana. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, on-site role. You will work on either Industrial Engineering or Digitalization projects to improve our manufacturing processes.

    What you'll do#

    If you focus on Industrial Engineering, you will use lean methods to improve safety, flow, and capacity. You will perform time studies, update standard work, and balance production lines. You will also use CAD to design or update workstation and warehouse layouts while evaluating ergonomics and delivery routes. You will analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and quality issues, create KPI tools, and assist with capital projects.

    If you focus on Digitalization, you will transform manufacturing data to improve efficiency and profitability. You will use tools like Power BI and Ignition to build dashboards for plant management. You will identify operational improvements, explore artificial intelligence applications, and translate business needs into digital solutions.

    In both tracks, you will partner with operators, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams to solve problems.

    What you'll need#

    You must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. You need to be available for a 40-hour-per-week, on-site assignment and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

    For Industrial Engineering candidates, we prefer experience with CAD, Excel, lean methods, and statistical analysis. You must also be able to travel within the U.S. and Mexico and cross the border without restriction.

    For Digitalization candidates, we prefer experience with Power BI, Ignition, Python, Microsoft SQL Server, REST APIs, and UI design. Relevant majors include Industrial, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Data Science.

    This is a paid co-op position located in Avon, Ohio or Huntington, Indiana. This role is on-site and full-time.
