About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Melbourne, Florida. You will work on-site with the software engineering team to support our signaling platforms for transit and freight railway systems.
What you'll do#
- Write and debug code in C, C++, and Python within an embedded environment.
- Support the integration of software and hardware components.
- Document software requirements and design specifications.
- Test and validate software changes.
- Participate in daily and weekly team status meetings.
- Assist with setting up software tools and take part in internal learning sessions and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Practical experience in software engineering gained through your studies.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
