    About the role#

    Komatsu offers a 12-week internship program for engineering students. You will gain experience through training, mentorship, and direct exposure to various areas within our engineering group.

    What you'll do#

    • Shadow and work with experienced engineers on real projects.
    • Participate in design, analysis, test, and systems engineering activities.
    • Apply your academic background to practical business challenges.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an electrical or mechanical engineering program at a 4-year accredited college or university.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task, and adapt to new challenges.
    • Motivation to drive results and contribute to the team.
    • Prior experience through work-study programs, leadership roles, or team participation is preferred.

    • Location: Peoria, Illinois.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $18 - $24 per hour.
    • Employment Type: Full-time.
    • Note: Some travel may be required.
