    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join the Battery and Systems Engineering Team. You will work alongside electrical, software, mechanical, and systems engineers to develop battery and electrical products. This is a hands-on role where you will build your technical and professional skills while working directly with staff engineers.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the development, debugging, and improvement of battery and electrical systems.
    • Participate in new product design and development processes.
    • Help investigate and resolve design and development issues.
    • Assist in the validation and testing of electrical and battery electronics and systems.
    • Contribute to the creation of design and validation documentation.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an educational program during the internship.
    • Pursuit of a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline, within an ABET accredited program.
    • Genuine curiosity and a willingness to understand how products are designed, built, and operate.
    • Basic proficiency with electrical and electronic concepts such as circuit analysis, digital logic, control systems, or electronics.
    • Experience or interest in electrical design, embedded systems, control, or batteries is preferred.
    • Basic proficiency with a programming language like C, C++, Python, or MATLAB is preferred.
    • Knowledge or experience with test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, digital logic analyzers, or digital multimeters is preferred.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills are preferred.

    • Location: Bloomington, Minnesota.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027).
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Full time, paid internship.
