About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join the Battery and Systems Engineering Team. You will work alongside electrical, software, mechanical, and systems engineers to develop battery and electrical products. This is a hands-on role where you will build your technical and professional skills while working directly with staff engineers.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, debugging, and improvement of battery and electrical systems.
- Participate in new product design and development processes.
- Help investigate and resolve design and development issues.
- Assist in the validation and testing of electrical and battery electronics and systems.
- Contribute to the creation of design and validation documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an educational program during the internship.
- Pursuit of a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline, within an ABET accredited program.
- Genuine curiosity and a willingness to understand how products are designed, built, and operate.
- Basic proficiency with electrical and electronic concepts such as circuit analysis, digital logic, control systems, or electronics.
- Experience or interest in electrical design, embedded systems, control, or batteries is preferred.
- Basic proficiency with a programming language like C, C++, Python, or MATLAB is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, digital logic analyzers, or digital multimeters is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are preferred.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027).
